In Partnership with First Catholic Federal Credit Union, St. Sabina School operates a student run credit union.
We are committed to the financial education of our students.
The student credit union helps our students acquire
the knowledge and experience to handle financial responsibilities.
Under the supervision of a FCFCU employee, 7th and 8th grade students perform teller duties. The student tellers
learn math skills, practice customer service, and increase their understanding of money while performing teller
duties for fellow student account holder's.
Deposits are made weekly at the student run teller window. Student account holder's have a pass book where
transactions are recorded. The students see the power of saving as they watch their accounts grow in value.
Every student can open a First Federal Credit Union savings account.
The account can be started with as little as $5.00
Deposits of all sizes are accepted.
All accounts are joint accounts with parents as co-owner.
During summer months, deposits can be made at FCFCU branches.
Withdrawals can only be completed at branch locations.
Quarterly Statements are mailed to the account holder's home address.
